You walk the same spectacular stretch as our five-day Fethiye trek, past Butterfly Valley, Kabak and the high cliffs of the Seven Capes, with an extra night at each end so the week never feels rushed.

Day by day
Our shuttle leaves Dalaman Airport at 09:45, so choose a flight landing by 09:00, or arrive the day before and join us in Fethiye. Settle into your hotel and enjoy a first evening by the harbour.
Overnight in Fethiye
After breakfast, head to Ovacık, the official start of the Lycian Way. The path climbs gently with views over the Blue Lagoon of Ölüdeniz and Mount Babadağ, reaches the village of Kozağaç for lunch and continues through the pines to Faralya.

Overnight in Faralya
Start with the view down into Butterfly Valley, home of the Jersey tiger butterfly. Descend to Kabak Valley for a dip under its waterfall, then follow the cliffs above Kabak Bay to Alınca, a village perched high above the sea. Dinner comes with a sunset view.

Overnight in Alınca
Walk straight onto one of the most dramatic stretches of the Lycian coast, the Seven Capes. Zigzag down to Yassı Kaya above Paradise Bay, then on through forest and meadows to the village of Gey. The afternoon is free at eco-bungalows looking out to sea, with a path down to a secluded beach.

Overnight in Yediburunlar
Walk through pine forest to the village of Bel for lunch. Then comes the hardest part of the trek, the steep and rocky Gavurağılı descent down to Karadere Beach, and a well-earned dinner by the sea.

Overnight in Karadere
A gentler day to visit Xanthos, the ancient capital of Lycia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its pillar tombs and theatre. Back to Karadere for a last evening by the sea.

Transfer to Dalaman Airport in time for your flight, with the hope of seeing you again on another stretch of the Lycian Way.
